1. Who we are
The controller of your personal data is Flemish Jewelry House BV, Quellinstraat 49, 2018 Antwerpen, Belgium ("deZEE Antwerp", "we"). You can reach us at dezee@dezeeantwerp.com or +32 3 555 12 34.
2. What data we collect
When you submit a quote request through our Atelier, we collect your first and last name, e-mail address, telephone number, country, and your chosen bracelet configuration, including any engraving text you provide. When you place an order, we additionally collect your billing address, an optional delivery address, and — for business customers — your company name and VAT number. You may voluntarily share your birthday (day and month only); we use it solely to send you an occasional birthday attention, based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you may withdraw at any time. If you contact us directly by e-mail or telephone, we process the information you choose to share. This website uses no cookies and does not create user accounts. We measure aggregate visits with a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics service (Plausible Analytics, EU-hosted) that stores no personal data and does not track you across websites.
3. Why we process your data
We use your data to respond to your quote request and prepare a personalised offer (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — steps prior to entering into a contract), to process, fulfil, deliver and invoice an order you place, including warranty and certification obligations and statutory accounting retention (Art. 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(c) GDPR), and to follow up on your enquiry where we have a legitimate interest in doing so (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not send marketing communications without your separate consent, and we do not use automated decision-making or profiling.
4. Personal inlays and engravings
The nature of a deZEE piece means that engraving texts and personal inlay materials may reveal information of a private character. We treat all such content as strictly confidential, use it solely to craft your piece, and never disclose it to third parties beyond the workshop personnel involved in production.
5. Who receives your data
Your data is accessible only to the persons within our house who handle your enquiry, and to service providers acting on our behalf: our form-delivery service, our e-mail provider, our website host and — when you pay online — our payment service provider, which processes your payment data under its own responsibility; we never see or store your card details. Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, the transfer is safeguarded by an EU adequacy decision or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. We never sell personal data.
6. How long we keep your data
Quote requests that do not lead to an order are deleted no later than 24 months after our last contact. Data connected to an order is retained for the period required by Belgian accounting and warranty law and deleted thereafter.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, write to dezee@dezeeantwerp.com; we respond within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit / Autorité de protection des données), Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels, www.dataprotectionauthority.be.
8. Security
Data submitted through this website is transmitted over an encrypted connection (TLS). Access to personal data within our house is limited to those who need it to serve you.
